My background:

I'm an avid reader and I find language fascinating. I love how it works, what it can do, and the way that it evolves; I'm obsessed with everything from grammar to GIFs.

I worked in healthcare for several years, but something was missing. Although I loved caring for my patients, I realised that I was happiest when I was working with words. So I went back to school!

I completed the Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT University, graduating with distinction at the end of 2019. I set up my business in the final year of my degree and got my very first clients.

My goal:

I want to help. I want to listen to what you have to say, and then help you to say it as effectively and beautifully as possible. I believe in the power of language and the importance of communication. Sharing stories is a way for people to connect with one another, and isn't that what it's all about?

Felicity Sutton Editing and Proofreading is an independent freelance business established in 2019. I live in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne (Naarm), on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country. I welcome clients from all over the world.
